Welcome to The Nosey Rosie! This website is dedicated to our family adventures with our cockalier, named Rosie Freckles. Rosie was born in November of 2016 and now is almost seven years in human years. Using the AKC calculation for a small to medium-sized dogs, Rosie would be roughly about 45 years in dog years, but she is still a spry pup who loves to play ball! As our emotional support dog, Rosie goes everywhere with us and is a valued member of our family. She is a lover of all, and all love her. With the sweetest disposition, Nosey Rosie has never met a stranger and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. In fact, when we first adopted her as a puppy, our vet said, “I’m not just saying this because she is your dog, but this breed is amazing. They are all this way!” We couldn’t agree more, she is amazing! A super-cuddler, she isn’t shy about sleeping in anyone’s lap, and is an equal-distributer of snuggles and kisses, which keeps everyone in the family happy.

When considering this project, we wanted to provide the same warm feelings we receive with others around the world. There is just something about her that makes you smile. Whether it’s the cute freckles on her mouth or the beautiful heart in the middle of her nose, she just makes you feel comfortable and loved. And when she is playing ball, you can see the smile on her face that stretches from ear to ear. Whether she is fetching her chuck-it ball or a stuffed animal in the living room, there is nothing that Rosie loves more than to fetch, except maybe digging the chicken out of her kibble and spreading the rice chunks all over the kitchen. Our Nosey Rosie loves car rides, new toys, and adventures to new places with unique smells. Hands down, she is the best dog we have ever known. We love her deeply.

As we begin this journey in sharing Rosie with the world, we want to thank you for checking out our content. During the life of this site, you will discover Rosie’s fantastic adventures, watch her play with new toys, try out new products, review her new outfits, but most importantly we hope, watch how she impacts the lives of sick children around the globe. It is our mission to “Bring the cheer” with Rosie the Cockalier. As we seek to do this, it is our promise to post two blogs a week, create multiple social posts a week, and email our loyal followers once a week. Between all of these communication channels, we hope that you will stay in touch with Rosie’s weekly adventures and discover how she is bringing the cheer to other people’s lives, not just our own. You can keep up with us here:

Also, and most importantly for today, please sign up and follow our weekly email by subscribing here. We would love to keep you aware of all that is going on in this new adventure for us.

Finally, we would ask that you consider nominating a family friend who’s child may be seriously ill. As a family that has endured many physical hardships with our children, we understand the healing power of encouragement and support. We want to be able to use Rosie’s cheer and sweet demeanor to make a positive impact on kids in need. We remember the days we spent in the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital with our son, who was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. After six years of multiple open heart surgeries and countless other caths and minor procedures, we know how encouraging it was to receive notes or visits from visitors and therapy animals. We want to start the journey today with Rosie to repay what was so graciously provided to us in our time of need. Therefore, if you know a family in need and would like to nominate them and their child for special encouragement, we encourage you to “Nominate a friend” on our site today. We will do our best to reach out and provide encouragement to the family through a photo and card. Thank you in advance for your nominations. We can’t wait to begin seeing Nosey Rosie’s impact on those in need.
